Seedball is a non-profit company on a mission to increase the abundance of British wildflowers and wildlife that depend upon them. Their belief is that if we use whatever space we have available to us (whether a back garden, balcony, window box, little patio etc) we can together have a hugely beneficial impact on our local ecosystems.
The last 50 years has been witness to huge declines in pollinators and other garden wildlife, but together we can really do something to reverse this.
It is SeedBalls mission to inspire wildlife gardening while providing a very handy way of going about it with conservation being at their heart and soul.

Seed balls are a mini ecosystem, protecting your seeds from birds, ants and slugs and giving them nutrition as they germinate and grow
They contain clay to protect the seeds from predators such as birds and mice, peat free compost for nutrition, chilli powder to deter slugs and snails from eating the young shoots and between 30 and 100 mixed seeds depending on the type of ball
They are really easy to use and have been designed so that there is at least one which will suit any type of garden
